Dear Mr. Ruppert:
In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note
the following items:
1. Add one more exit near the Northeast corner.
2. All doors, including exits shall be identified
per OSHA, Section 1910.37 (q).
Per UFC Sec. 10.104 (b), "All doors in or lead-
ing to exits shall be maintained openable from
the inside without the use of a key or any special
knowledge or effort at all times when the build -
ing or area served thereby is occupied ".
3. Hose Station coverage per Ordinance #730 to be
maintained.
Fire extinguishers shall be provided per NFPA #10.,
as a minimum requirement.
Extinguishers shall be located so as to be in
plain view (if at all.possible). If not in plain
view, they shall be identified with a sign stat-
ing "FIRE EXTINGUISHER" with an arrow pointing.
When extingushers are hung on posts or columns, the
post or column shall be painted bright red for
a distance of 12 inches down from the ceiling (or
roof).
If the colorr of extinguishers is other than red,
they shall be provided with a background or
mounting board, red in color, not less than 2
square feet in size.
If carpeting or similar material is rack - stored,
rack sprinklers shall be installed.

The existing sprinkler. system is designed for
an average..hazard. - Storage.of more hazardous
Materials or hazardous'processes will necessitate
*increasing the sprinkler coverage.
