CALL TO ORDER: Committee Chair Hougardy called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

II. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Purchase of Thermal Imaging Cameras for the Fire Department
Interim Chief Flores noted that a new proposal for this purchase is being developed and will be
presented to Committee in April. RETURN TO COMMITTEE.
B. 20144 1h Quarter Investment Report
Staff presented the 4th Quarter Cash and Investment Report for 2014, including information on
the City's portfolio components, performance, policy compliance and liquidity analysis, fund
cash and investment balances, and investment environment. At December 31, 2014, the
portfolio totaled $45.4 million comprising $35.6 million in cash and cash equivalents and $9.8 in
longer term investments. This represents a $4.1 million increase from the September 30, 2014
balance of $41.3 million, due in part to the receipt of $3.85 million in funding for property
purchased earlier in the year as well as the LID #33 assessments received. INFORMATION
ONLY.
C. 2014 4th Quarter Police Department Report
Chief Villa shared a presentation that updated the Committee on Police Department items of
significance that occurred during the 4th quarter of 2014. The information included highlights,
crime statistics and crime reduction strategies. INFORMATION ONLY.
