III. MISCELLANEOUS
Chair Hougardy invited Gail and John Chase to address the Committee. They are owners of ABC
Towing located in Tukwila and noted that the City has contracted with a Renton -based tow
company since 1998. They explained that sales tax on towing services is collected based on the
location from which the truck is dispatched, and therefore the City would benefit from using a
Tukwila company for this service. The Committee asked staff for additional information on the
City's current contract.
Meeting adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
