CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
Tukwila, Wash., July 10, 1924.
The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:10 P.M
There were present Mayor E. F. Greene, Councilman H. E. Ives, P. S. Gay
G. V. Harrison, Fred Nord. and A. G. Berg.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the clerk
and approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the clerk and after being
approved by the Finance Committee it was regularly moved, seconded and
carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for their respective amour

A. E. Hull 2 50
C. P. Jensen it 18 75

COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurers monthly report was read by the Clerk and
ordered placed on file.
REPORTS OF C0M ITTEES
Special Committee Councilman Harrison:
The petition for disincorporation presented at the last
meeting has been checked with the registration books and found to
be sufficient.
Moved and seconded that the report of the Committee on the
petition for disincorporation be accepted by the Council. Roll call
vote as follows:
Berg Yes Gade Yes
Ives Yes Nord Yes
Harrison Yes
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Moved and seconded that the resignation of Councilman Gade
be laid upon the table indefinately. Lotion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
A general discussion was held regarding the proper procedure
with the petition for disincorporation and it was regularly moved,
seconded and carried that the Council appoint a suitable person to
take a census of the Town. Moved and seconded that Mr. J. L. Durbin
be appointed to take a census of the Town. Motion carried.
The question of additional street work was brought up and
discussed at length. No action was taken however.
