AYR provides mental health (including drug and alcohol prevention /intervention) services to families and kids under 18,
Street Outreach to homeless kids on the TIB corridor, connection to ECAP /Head start, homeless youth services, a drop -in
center and transitional housing. Youth housing must go thru 2 -1 -1 and the Youth Housing Connection (YHC, 18 -24 yr old).
Tukwila homeless youth are virtually invisible. AYR made 169 contacts with Tukwila homeless youth in 1 st quarter.

5 -6 -15 Joint School Board & City Council meeting -time and location TBD
5 -20 -15 Homeless 101 presentation to faith community — 7p -8:30p District Admin Bldg
IRC is half -way thru the `resettlement' year. New arrivals include; Congolese, Iraqi, Somali, Syrian. IRC may provide a
workshop on new arrivals. IRC is coordinating summer school with the district. IRC was one of three agencies (Somali
Youth and Family Club, Muslim Housing) that was awarded Homeless Prevention Grant funds, $132,000 over 2 years (1/2
for admin) to assist those working who aren't quiet able to stabilize.
