SPECIAL MEETING
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Haggerton called the Special Tukwila City Council Meeting to order at 9:18 p.m. directly following
the Committee of the Whole meeting.
ROLL CALL
Melissa Hart, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll of the Council. Present were Councilmembers
Dennis Robertson, Allan Ekberg, Verna Seal, Kathy Hougardy, De'Sean Quinn and Kate Kruller.
MOVED BY QUINN, SECONDED BY ROBERTSON TO EXCUSE COUNCILMEMBER DUFFIE FROM
THE SPECIAL MEETING. MOTION CARRIED 6 -0.
CITY OFFICIALS
Jim Haggerton, Mayor; David Cline, City Administrator; Bob Giberson, Public Works Director;
Laurel Humphrey, Council Analyst; Melissa Hart, Deputy City Clerk.
CONSENT AGENDA
a. Approval of Minutes: 6/8/15 (Special Mtg.)
b. Approval of Vouchers: 369498- 369573 in the amount of $996,431.27.
c. Award a bid to Miles Resources, LLC, for the 2015 Overlay Program in the amount of $1,344,811.00,
and authorize the Mayor to sign the contract.

d. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Transpo Group USA, Inc., for the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan in the amount of $104,200.00.

e. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Nelson /Nygaard for the Transit Plan update in the amount
of $75,303.00.

MOVED BY ROBERTSON, SECONDED BY KRULLER THAT THE CONSENT AGENDA BE
APPROVED AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 6 -0.
ADJOURNMENT
9:19 p.m. MOVED BY ROBERTSON, SECONDED BY KRULLER THAT THE SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL BE ADJOURNED. MOTION CARRIED 6 -0.
