RESOLUTION NO. 1216 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING THE
DONATION OF TWO SEMI AUTOMATIC DEFIBRIL-
LATORS FROM HIGHLINE MEDIC 1.
WHEREAS, in July 1992, the City of Tukwila received two semi automatic
defibrillators valued at $16,000 from Highline Medic 1; and
WHEREAS, Highline Medic 1 is the original provider group who began the
paramedic service in King County and now serves as support for those fire
departments who made up its membership; and
WHEREAS, the goal of Highline Medic 1 is to provide training and equipment,
when practical, to its member departments so as to ensure the best medical care as
possible to the residents of South King County; and
WHEREAS, the donation of these defibrillators has saved the City the cost of
purchase and enabled the fire department to complete its conversion from manual to
semi automatic defibrillators a year early;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City accepts the generous donation from Highline Medic 1 and
directs the City's fire department to place these new defibrillators in
service immediately.

WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this day of
