RE: Citizen Request for a new stop sign installation on 44 Ave S at S.122nd St.
Site conditions show very limited site distances to the east and west when approaching S.122nd
on 44th Ave 5. South 122nd St. is the primary arterial with the perceived right of way over the
intersecting 44th Ave S. The MUTCD and WAC 468 -95 -29005 support the installation of stop
signs under conditions at intersections that have restricted sight distance for the prevailing
vehicle speeds. S.122nd St has several other stop controlled side streets due to restricted
visibility. Engineering judgment endorses the installation of a new stop sign at this location.

STOP (R1 -1) and YIELD (R1 -2) signs (see Figure 5B -1) may be considered for use on low-
volume roads where engineering judgment or study, consistent with the provisions of Sections
2B.04 to 2B.10, indicates that either of the following conditions applies:
A. An intersection of a Tess- important road with a main road where application of the normal
right -of -way rule might not be readily apparent.
B. An intersection that has restricted sight distance for the prevailing vehicle speeds.

RE: Citizen Request for a new stop sign installation on S133rd at 56th ave s.
Site conditions show limited site distances in both east and west bound directions when
approaching 56th ave s from S133rd. The MUTCD and WAC 468 -95 -29005 support the
installation of stop signs under conditions at intersections that have restricted sight distance for
the prevailing vehicle speeds. 56th Ave south is the primary arterial on Foster point with S133rd
as the secondary collector from the dead end.

Yield sign request for S.118th- 44th Ave S
RE: Citizen Request for a new traffic control device on S118th St at 44th Ave s.
Site conditions show limited site distance on the north side of this intersection when
approaching 44th ave s from S.118th St. The MUTCD and WAC 468 -95 -29005 support the
installation of yield signs under conditions at intersections that have restricted sight distance for
the prevailing vehicle speeds. 44th Ave south is the primary route with S.118th St as the
secondary collector thru street. Due to the low speeds, engineering judgement justifies a
yielding operation for S118th St in lieu of full stop control at this location.

12910 East Marginal Way S. Top Line Market parking complaint.
This market owner claims that he often has trouble receiving his deliveries due to Cafe patrons parking for extended periods. He would like this
one stall to be marked "NO PARKING LOADING ZONE ". This sign should get a more consistent rate of compliance to accommodate his deliveries
and would not significantly impact overall parking availability. I would suggest that the City replaces the "15 minute parking" sign with a "No
Parking Loading zone" sign. The Market owner will be satisfied and self- enforce as needed for deliveries.

Truck parking /Sight distance complaint at 11059 Tukwila
International Blvd.
The business /property owner at 11061 Tukwila Intl Blvd is concerned about
frequent Semi truck and trailer parking along the ROW adjacent to his property.
These vehicles reduce the sight distance for exiting the business owner's property
and have created a safety nuisance. The owner has requested for this area to be
posted "No Parking Anytime" similar to the areas on the east side of Tukwila Intl
Blvd. 4 signs would be required to post this area. 1- R7 -1R, 1- R7 -1L + 2 R7 -1.
