RESOLUTION NO. 1218 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DECLARING SURPLUS
THREE HOUSES AND ACCOMPANYING OUT-
BUILDINGS CURRENTLY LOCATED ON OPEN SPACE
PROPERTY PURCHASED BY THE CITY OF TUKWILA.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has purchased three parcels of Open Space
property each containing a house and out buildings; and
WHEREAS, Open Space property is designated as lands to be used for Open
Space, park lands, trails, or other recreational uses; and
WHEREAS, the houses therefore need to be removed from lands designated as
Open Space; and
WHEREAS, the houses have no value to the City as City -owned houses, and are,
in their current condition, a liability to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Houses Surplus. The City declares the houses and out buildings on
the parcels commonly described as 5830 S. 140th, 5311 S. 144th, and 15421 42nd Ave. S.
surplus to the City's needs.
Pursuant to Tukwila Municipal Code Chapter 2.64, the City Clerk shall cause a
call for bids to be published for the disposition of the houses and out buildings and
their removal from the parcels.
