RESOLUTION NO. 1219
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING SOLE
SOURCE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) POLICE PATROL
CARS FROM ROYAL CHEVROLET OF SPOKANE.
WHEREAS, RCW 35.23.352 (9) provides for single source purchasing of
equipment, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council has budgeted $90,000 for five (5) police
patrol cars, and
WHEREAS, there are no remaining police cars available under State bid, and
WHEREAS, these units meet the basic Tukwila Police requirements, and
WHEREAS, Royal Chevrolet was the State bid contractor of these units in
Washington for 1992 and they continue to provide excellent service and help;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Public Works is authorized to buy five (5) police cars from Royal Chevrolet.
Purchase of the cars is subject to special market conditions as set forth above.
