Acceptance of Public Comments — Tukwila International Blvd. Redevelopment Project
Deadline for comments to Department of Ecology: September 18, 2015
The City of Tukwila, 6200 Southcenter Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98188, is seeking coverage under the
Washington State Department of Ecology's Construction Stormwater NPDES (National Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System) and State Waste Discharge General Permit. The proposed
project, Tukwila International Blvd. Redevelopment Project, is located at
14420/14440/14442 /14452 Tukwila International Blvd. in Tukwila, WA, in King County. This
project involves 1.53 acres of soil disturbance for commercial demolition construction activities.
The receiving water is an unnamed tributary to Gilliam Creek.
Any person interested in the department's action on this application or who would like to present
their views may notify the Department of Ecology of their interest within thirty days of the last
date of publication of this notice or September 18, 2015. The Department of Ecology reviews
public comments and considers whether discharges from this project would cause a measurable
change in receiving water quality, and, if so, whether the project is necessary and in the
overriding public interest according to Tier II anti - degradation requirements under WAC 173-
201 A -320.
