Chief Villa is part of a group of Chiefs who are putting together a toolbox for police departments to build trust with communities. o He has been meeting with representatives of different communities and so far the feedback has been pretty neutral about TPD from these meetings. • Working on presentations for members of different communities to work with PD • Possible presentations at apartments • Work with the School District family liaison staff a possibility • COPCAB Awards /Annual Report to the City Council. Consensus was to award all nominees. • For officers, Zach Anderson was mentioned for his great work in recruiting and other community efforts. • Also mentioned was the new Westfield manager, Becky Smith, who was instrumental in getting the mall office opened.
