The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the Layer on the above date at 0:00 P. 1
There were present Mayor E. F. Greene, Councilmen H. E. Ives, Fred
Nord, G. V. Harrison, A. G. Berg and A. J. Erickson.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk
and approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being
approved by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved, seconded an
carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for the respective amount,

The Town Treasurers monthly report was read by the Clerk and
ordered placed on file.
Certificate from the County Election Board was read by the
Clerk and ordered placed on file.
REPORTS OF COEMITTE 2
Street Committee Councilman Ives.
The complaint filed by Mr. Gott has been investigated and
the trouble remedied. The repairs ordered for Bluff Street have been
comnletedalthough the appropriation was exceeded by the amount of x;4.0(
Moved and seconded that the original appropriation be increased by
this amount. Motion carried.
Health and Sanitation Councilman Nord.
Notice has been filed with the owner of the property
formerly reported but no further action has been taken. The ifayor
ordered the Committee to continue with the work.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Letter fronm the Puget Sound Electric together with easement
on a section of the right of way was read by the Clerk. Moved and sec-
onded that the easement be approved and the Layer and Clerk be author-
ized to sign same Motion Carried.
NEW BUSINESS

Discussion was brought up regarding depredations made upon
various sidewalks and trestles in the Town. Moved and seconded that
the sidewalk on Tukwila venue and the trestle on Engel Hill be re-
paired. Motion Carried. Moved and seconded that the Town I=arshal be
insjiructed to post a reward of ";5.00 for the arrest and conviction of
any one damaging or destroying Town property. Motion carried.

The condition of the various streets throughout the Town
especially on the Flat was brought up and discussed at length.
Moved and seconded that 350.00 be appropriated to repair the stree
on the flat. Motion carried. Moved and seconded that 315.00 be
appropriated for necessary work on Riverside and Clarence Avenues
and Kenney Blvd. Motion carried.
Mr. Duff appeared before the Council and presented a
petition for the vacation of the plat in Block 5. .fter some
discussion it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the
petition be referred to the i:'ayor to investigate and report at the
next meeting.
