The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order on the above date by the Mayor at 8:00 F
There were present Mayor E. F. Greene, Councilmen H. E. Ives, Fred
Nord, A. G. Berg, G. V. Harrison and A. J. Erickson.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk
and approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the Clerk and after beinE
approved by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved, seconded
and carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for their respectiv
amounts.

It appearing that the bills for street work had exceeded the appro-
priations, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that 0.00
additional be appropriated to cover the excess.
COPII':'U NI CATI ON S
The Town Treasurers monthly report was read by the Clerk
and ordered placed on file.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Street Committee Councilman Ives.
Allwork ordered to be done upon the streets has now been
completed. Riverside and Rice Avenues are now in good condition and
the alley on the flat has been filled in with gushed rock. It is
recommended however that a small amount of additional work be done
on First Avenue.
Moved and seconded that 150.00 be appropriated to repair First Ave-
nue from Mill Street to the river. Motion carried.
Health and Sanitation Councilman Berg.
Several citizens throughout the Town are continuing to
dump garbage on vacant property and thereby disregarding the notices
posted. The Mayor ordered this matter referred to the Town Marshal.
Drainage Committee Councilman Berg.
Mr. Gott has again complained regarding the drainage on
his property below Engel Bill.
Moved and seconded that the matter be referred to Councilman Berg
with power to act. Motion carried.

NEW BUaIIvES3
Mr. J. T. Mead appeared before the Council and requested
a permit to construct an addition to his garage. Moved and seconded
that the permit be granted. Motion carried.
Mr. J. L. Durbin appeared before the Council and requested
a permit to construct a chicken house. Moved and seconded that the
permit be granted. Motion carried.
Discussion was brought up regarding the fencing of the
property in Block 15 belonging to King County. Moved and seconded
that the Clerk be instructed to take the proper steps to have this
fence removed. Motion carried.
A general discussion was held regarding the installing of
additional street lights throughout the Town. Moved and seconded
that the light on Pole 3574, V. D. 33 be moved opposite the trestle
under the Interurban, a new light be installed opposite Yr. Wallen-
bergs property and the light on.Maule Avenue opposite Mr. Blanken-
ship's property be replaced. Roll call vote ,taken as follows:
Erickson, No; Berg, Yes; Harrison, Yes; Nord, Yes; Ives, No.
Motion carried.
Moved and seconded that the Clerk be instructed to get an
estimate �n the installation of two street lights opposite Mr. Gade's
property and one light opposite rr. Fox's property. Notion carried.
