There were present Mayor E. F. Greene, Councilmen Fred. Nord A. G. Berg, G. V. Harrison and k. J. Erickson; Councilman H. E. Ives being absent. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk and approved as read. BILLS Tukwila, Wash., March 12, 1925. The following bills were read by the Clerk and after bell approved by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved, seconde( and carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for their respect ive amounts. Seattle 36 00 Total 101.00 COMMUNICATIONS The Town Treasurer's monthly report was read by the Clerk and ordered placed on file. REPORTS OF COLLITTEES Street Committee Councilman Harrison. The repairs ordered for First .::venue have been completed with the exception of surfacing with cinders, which will be done in the near future. Drainage Committee Councilman Berg. The complaint filed by Mr. Gott has been investigated and satisfactorily adjusted. Health and Sanitation Councilman Nord. Several citizens are still dumping garbage on Engel Hill and it is recommended that the Earshal take drastic measures if necessary to stop this nuisance. The I ordered this matter referred to the I- =arshal with full power to act. UNFINISHED BUSINESS The Clerk reported that the City of ',cattle had been advised regarding the fence in front of Lot 9, Block 15 and they had agreed to remove same. The Clerk also reported that the Puget Riound Power and Light Company had been advised regarding the additional Street Lights but no reply had been received from them as yet. i+E:i BUSINESS Mr. Ton appeared before the Council and requested some repairs on the street adjoining his property. After some discussion the matter was referred to a committee of the entire council to in- vestigate the matter and report at the next meeting. Approved: Hr. Breedlove appeared before the Council and requested that a fence be placed across First Avenue on the bank of the river. The Mayor ordered. this matter referred to Councilmen Harrison and Erickson to investigate and report at the next meeting. I t was reported that the sidewalk on Highland Drive ex- tended was in bad condition and in need of repair. Referred to Councilmen Harrison and Berg for investigation. It was also reported that the walk on Clarence Avenue between Pain Street and Riverside Avenue was in had condition and in need of repair. The Clerk was instructed to notify the owners of the adjoining property accordingly. A general discussion was held regarding the sanitary conditions of several properties on the Flat. No action was taken however. Councilman Berg stated that Hrs. forth would like to purchase a piece of timber now lying on Kenney Boulevard near Tukwila Avenue.
