Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:10
P. M. There were present I E. F. Greene, Councilmen Fred Nord,
A. G. Berg, G. V. Harrison and A. J. Erickson; Councilman H. E. Ives
being absent.
Minutes .of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk
and approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being
approved by the Finance Committee, it war regularly moved, seconded
and carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for their respectiv(
amounts.

COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurer's monthly report was read by the Clerk
and ordered placed on file.
Letter from the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. reques
ing permission to set two poles on Kenney Blvd was read by the Clerk
Moved and seconded that the request be granted. Motion carried.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Street Committee Councilman Harrison.
Cinders have been placed on First Ave. and the work on
that street is now completed. The walk on Highland Drive extended is
in bad condition and bids have been called for to replace same. The
only bid received was from Mr. Barcesky for ;;50.00.
Moved and seconded that the bid of Mr. I?arcesky be accepted and he
be instructed to proceed with the work. Motion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Councilman Harrison reported on the proposed fence across
First Avenue on the bank of the river and recommended that it not
be installed at this time.
Councilman Harrison reported on the road adjoining the Ton
property and recommended that $75.00 be appropriated to make the
necessary repairs. Moved and seconded that :75.00 be appropriated
for repairs to the road adjoining Mr. Ton's property and that Mr.
Ton be placed in charge of the work. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Councilman Berg reported that Graham Avenue was in bad
condition and in need of repair. The IAayor requested Councilman
Berg to investigate this matter and also take it up with the County
Commissioners and report at the next meeting.
Mr. Gade appeared before the Council and requested repairs
made to Bluff Street near his property. Mr. Wallenberg also appeared

before the Council and requested repairs made on Mauie Avenue and
the alley on the Flat. Both of these matters were referred to a
special Committee consisting of Councilmen Erickson, Harrison and
Nord to investigate and report at the next meeting.
A short discussion was held regarding the street lights
throughout the Town. No action was taken however.
No further business appearing, the Council adjourned
at 9:20 P. M.
