Tukwila was called to order at 8:00 P. M. on the above date.
Present were MayorG. C. Bergquist and Councilmen Fred Nord, A.
G. Berg, G. V. Harrison, J. R. Naylor and J. A. Kunz.

The following bills were read, approved by the Fi-
nance Committee and on motion regularly seconded and carried,
were order paid.
COMMUNICATIONS
The monthly report of the Town Treasurer was read
by the clerk and approved.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Street Committee, Mr. Harrison, reported that the
thistles on.Main Street had been cut and minor repairs made.

Mr. D. A. Newton, who had been appointed as Town
the ensuing year was sworn in by the Mayor.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and ap-

Mr. Harrison recommedded that the matter of further
work on the Ton road be dropped.
The matter of cutting all grass between the side-
walk and street was discussed and a motion was made, seconded and
carried that all grass on Main Street to Clarence Ave. between
the sidewalk and street be cut.
Mr. Harrison brought up the matter of dirt falling.
onto the sidewalks, causing them to rot. On Motion regularly
seconded and carried it was agreed that the owners of the prop-
erty be notified to clear the dirt from the sidewalks.
On motion regularly seconded and carried the Clerk
was instructed to write the Puget Sound Power and Light Co. no-
tifying them of the condition of the track crossing at the alley

facing the bluff and order them to repair, bring to a level with
the tracks and widen to a full twenty feet.
The matter of the crossing drains and sand boxes in
Tukwila was discussed. A motion was made, seconded and carried
that the sidewalk and drain at Tukwila Avenue and Main Street be
repaired using ten inch tile and a concrete sand box.
On motion made, seconded and carried Mr. Harriosn
was authorized to purchase four loads of cinders at 4p1.00 per
yard and approximately thirty yards of gravel at 01.72 per yard
for use on Maule Avenue, Main Street and other streets as needed.
Mr. Wallenberg appeared before the Council and re-
ported that the street light for Maule Avenue had been misplaced.
The clerk was instructed to write the Puget Sound Power and Light
Company and order the light moved one hundred feet to where the
stake was placed.
Mr. Wallenberg also reported that brush was obstruc-
ting the road an Maule Avenue and asked permission to remove same.
Permission granted.
On motion regularly seconded and carried the Council
adjourned at 9:30 P. M.
