These locations shall be along normal paths of travel, unless the fire code official determines that the hazard posed indicates the need for placement away from normal paths of travel. (IFC 906.5) 19: Fire extinguishers require monthly and yearly inspections. They must have a tag or label securely attached that indicates the month and year that the inspection was performed and shall identify the company or person performing the service. Every six years stored pressure extinguishers shall be emptied and subjected to the applicable recharge procedures. If the required monthly and yearly inspections of the fire extinguisher(s) are not accomplished or the inspection tag is not completed, a reputable fire extinguisher service company will be required to conduct these required surveys. (NFPA 10, 4 -3, 4 -4) 20: Contact The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau to witness all required inspections and tests. Permit No. REVIEWED FOR CODE COMPLIANCE APPROVED JAN 2 7 2010 City of Tukwila BUILDING DIVISION In response to the emergency repair projects at Howard Hanson Dam and the potential risk of flooding, we are submitting a project to increase the amount of diesel fuel oil available on -site for the stand -by power generators at the Qwest Tukwila Cyber Center, located at 6101 S. 180th Street, in Tukwila. This project will install two (2) 12,000 gallon tanks on existing generator housekeeping pads, within the existing enclosed generator courtyard at the southwest corner of the building. The new tanks will be used to fill the belly tanks of the six (6) existing generators serving the building. The new tanks will be UL- listed, double -wall steel above - ground storage tanks. These tanks will be in place for the duration of the emergency repair projects at Howard Hanson Dam. Current estimates state that the projects will take between three and five years to complete. After the repair projects are complete, and the emergency status for flooding in the Green River Valley has been lifted, these two tanks and their associated piping will be removed. It is our understanding that this temporary installation complies with the City of Tukwila's recent measures to assist property owners in preparing for potential flooding. We also understand that this temporary installation is an acceptable solution and is a qualified exception to TMC 16.16.040, regarding the installation of above - ground storage tanks in zones other than MIC, LI or CLI zones.
