Johnston, P.E. JOB NUMBER: 10050.00 Note: All comments are observations and not considered inspections - Please call with any additional comments or corrections OBSERVATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS On 23 March 2010 Darren S. Johnston, P.E. from this office visited the site referenced above to perform a special structural observation site visit for the recently completed cold form metal ceiling and fascia framing installed in the future "Fireworks" store at Westfield Mall Southcenter, Tukwila, Washington. During our special site visit the following items were found to require attention: 1 One joist support clip angle was not installed. 2. Two joists to side wall track screw connections were missing fasteners. 3. One diagonal brace at the lower storefront section was missing three screws one at one end and both (two) at the other end. These items were corrected while ABKJ was on site and follow -up special review was performed immediately after completion. Therefore, with consideration of our framing design and details, our progress site visits performed on 8 March 2010 and on 17 March 2010 and the design adjustments made by ABKJ as a result of contractor requests, it is our professional opinion that to the best of our knowledge the ceiling framing and soffit framing has been acceptably completed in accordance with our design and addenda. END OF SITE VISIT REPORT Please call if you have any questions. AND /ER Darren S Johnston, P.E. Associate Principal ACOBS, INC.
