Then a 2 or 3 ply of a #11 glass ply sheet installed into a hot asphalt. The top surface is a 72 Ib. glass cap sheet with white ceramic granules on surface. The cap sheet is also applied into asphalt. This existing BUR roof system has a UL Class B rating. The roof deck has a very positive slope for drainage. The new roof system is manufactured by G.AF. and is called Everguard Single Ply Roof System. The membrane is white, 60 mil thick, and mechanically attached to wood deck with #12 screws. The new TPO system has a UL Class B rating with the old roof. The existing structure has a 6° thick R -21 fiberglass insulation attached to the 2° X 6° wood deck framing.
