The Drill-Tec Heavy Duty ASAP° 2S is a DriIFTec Heavy Duty #14 Fastener assembled with a Drill- Tec 2' Galvalume° Barbed Plate. The DrilhTec Heavy Duty ASAP° 2S is available in lengths from 2'- 16'. Longer lengths are assembled to order. APPLICATION The Drill-Tec Heavy Duty ASAP° 2S must penetrate steel decks a minimum of 3/4' and wood decks a minimum oft'. Drive the fastener until the screw head is seated securely; with very rigid insulation boards, watch for the plate to dimple. For the fastest, most - effective method of installation, use the TaIIBoy° or ShortBoy° tool. For steel decks, Factory Mutual requires that the fastener penetrate the deck at the top flute.
