The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the ML.yor on the above date at
8:03 P. M. Present were Mayor G. C. Bergquist and Councilmen
J. A. Kunz, J. R. Naylor, E. F. Greene, J. C. Wickman and M. L.
Holmes.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the
Clerk and approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being
approved by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved, se-
conded and carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for their
respective amounts.

None.

COMMUNICATIONS
The regular monthly report of the Town Treasurer was read
by the Clerk and ordered placed on file.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Street Committee Mr. Naylor. Repairs to the sidewalk
at the corner of Main and Highland Drive completed. Thistles
and brush cut. Material ordered to repair the fence on the
property of Mr. Stewart but as the bank needs cutting in order to
properly construct the fence, he deemed it advisable to delay
the work.
New Business
s everal citizens appeared before the Council and complained
as to the condition of the streets. After a general discussion,
it was moved, seconded and carried that the Superintendent of
Streets inspect the streets and be authorized to cut any brush and
thistles necessary and to make such other repairs as are necessary.
A complaint being made to the Council that brush along the
In terurban right of way was obstructing traffic on Reitz Ave, the
er was instructed to take up with the Interurban company.
Mayor Bergquist gave a short outline of the progress made
with the proposed water district and showed the Council the peti-
tions all ready signed.
8:40 No further business appearing, the Council adjourned at
P. M.
