The regular monthly meeting of the Council of theTown of
Tukwila was called to order on the above date by the Mayor at
8:00 P. M. Present were Mayor G. C. Bergquist And Councilmen
J. R. Naylor, J. A. Kunz, J. C. Wickman, E. F. Geeene and M. L.
Holmes.
The minutes of the last regular meeting and of the special
meetings held September i8 and October 7 were read by the Clerk
and approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being
approved by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved, seconded
and carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for their respec-
tive amounts.

The regular monthly report of the Town Treasurer was read
by the Clerk and ordered placed on file.
A letter from the Puget Sound Power Light Company
acknowledging receipt of request for estimate of cost of Bluff
Street lights.
A letter from the Auditor of King County stating that a
special election would be called as requested by the Council.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Street Committee Mr. Naylor. All work on Hazel Avenue
completed inoluding grading and graveling at a total cost of 03.00.
The scarifier ordered had been out for one day but will be needed
for an additional days work in order to thoroughly go over the
streets.
Sidewalk repairs The owners have agreed to repair their
respective walks.
Old Business
After some discussion it was moved, seconded and carried
that the Superintendent of Streets notify all owners or agents of
properties with sideways in need of repair to repair sane,
failing which, the Town would have same repaired and assess the
cost of same against the property affected.

Councilman Holmes reported that garbage was being dumped on
certain streets. Matter referred to the Health and Sanitation
Committee for investigation.
Councilman Naylor reported that a new street light was
needed on Colegrove Street at a point approximately in front of
the middle of lot 4. Clerk instructed to secure an estimate of
the cost of installing said light from the Puget Sound Power&
Light Company.
