The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:00 P. M. Present were Mayor G. C. Bergquist and Councilmen J. R. Naylor, J. A. Kunz, E. F. Greene and M. L. Holmes. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk and approved as read. Regular order of business was interupted at this point in order to nominate and elect Mr. J. A. Duff as Councilman to suc- ceed Mr. J. C. Wickman, resigned. BILLS' The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being approved by the Finance Committee, it was moved, seconded and carried that they be paid and warrants be drawn for their res- pective amounts. Seattle $38.10 Tuk *ila 4.00 20.00 10.00 2.50 TOTAL $76.36 COMMUNICATIONS The Town Treasurers monthly report was read by the Clerk and ordered placed on file. The County Superintendent ofElections report of the Special election held November 2d, 1926 was read by the clerk and ordered placed on file. COMMITTEE REPORTS Street Committee Councilman Naylor Have had all drains cleaned on Tukwila and Warren Avenues. Gravel has been placed on Warren Avenue. Health Committee Councilman Holmes Has investigated the rubbish reported thrown on various lots and has instructed all parties concerned to clean the respective properties. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. NEW BUSINESS Councilman Naylor reported that it had come to his attention that various building was being done without a permit being secured for same and that his time would not permit of his going around to inspect all properties to see that one was taken out. The Clerk was instructed to write all parties reported and to post a notice 12/9/26 #2 calling the attention of the citizens to the building ordinance. Mr. Schallus appeared before the Council and requested a pee mit to build an addition to his chicken house. Granted. The condition of thedrains on Main Street was discussed and referred to the Superintendent of Streets. No further business appearing, the Council adjourned at 8 "41 P. M. 16—/ Clerk
