The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
was called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:07 P. M.
Present were Mayor G. C. Bergquist and Councilmen J. R. Naylor,
J. A. Kunz, J. A. Duff and E. F. Greene. Councilman M. L. Holmes
being absent.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the clerk
and approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the olerk and after
being approved by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved,
seconded and carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for
their respective amounts.
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND

Tukwila Grocery Tukwila 2.50

TOTAL 470.96
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Street Committee Councilman Naylor
Streets in general in poor shape due to the recent snow and
a number of drains in need of cleaning. However in view of the
weather do not think it wise to attempt to do anything to the
streets quite yet.
Have seen several property owners relative to repairs to
sidewalks and while several are repaired, not all have yet had
attention.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Mayor Bergquist asked Councilman Naylor to post repair notices
on all properties where the sidewalks were in need of repair.
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution No. 32 was introduced and after a general discussion
it was regularly moved, seoonded °'carried that it be adopted.
After a general discussion, the matter of the condLion of the
streets was referred to the Street and Drainage Committees for
further investigation.
A citizen appeared before the Council and asked that two more
lights be placed on Outlet Street. Referred to the Street Committee.
No further business appearing, the Council adjourned at 9:10 P.M.
