The regular monthly meeting, of the Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor on the above date at
8:00 P. M. Present were Mayor U. C. Bergquist and Councilmen
J. R. Naylor, J. A. Kunz, E. F. Greene, J. A. Dufr and M. L. Holmes.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the
clerk and approved.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the clerk and after approved
by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved, seconded and
carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for the respective
amounts.
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
Puget Sound Power Light Co. Seattle 439.95
D. A. Newton Tukwila 10.00
Geo. Heyne 2.00
F. Henke 5.00
Tukwila Grocery 2.50

COMMUNICATIONS
The regular monthly report of the Town Treasurer was read and
placed on file.
A letter the Puget Sound Power Light Company quoting
no installation ?or the two new lights on Riverside Ave.
COMMITTEE BEPOATS
Street Committee Councilman Naylor Streets in need of
repairs as well as some grading and gravel.
OLD BUSINESS
It was moved, seconded anx carried that the Street Committee
go over the streets on the following Sunday and that they are
authorized to order such work as may be necessary.
It way moved, seconded and carried that the Puget Sound Power
Light Company be authorized two install two new street lights
on Riverside Avenue.
NEW BUSINESS
There was a general discussion of the water situation, it
being the general opinion that move assurance of the citizens should
be had before going to the expense of an election, a motion was
made,seconded and carried authorizing the clerk to prepare and mail
to all registered voters a letter asking their wishes, and also
appropriated 410.00 to coved the cost of same.
