The recess taken at the regular meeting of the Council of the
Town of Tukwila held August lith was reconvened on the above date
at 8:00 P. M.
Present were Mayor John h. Walkup and Councilmen E. F. Greene,
M. L. Holmes, J. A. Duff, J. R. Cummins and Phillip Koenig.
Resolution No. 3 was taken from the table and re -read oy the
Clerk. It was regularly moved, seconded ana carried that Resolu-
tion No. 34 authorizing the employment of the firm of Shorts and
Denney as special counsel for the handling of the bonds authorized
at the special election of July 9th, be adopted. On roll call
all members answered "Aye."
The Clerk read the report of the Election Board of King County
giving the results of the Special Election held July 9th 1927.
A general discussion was held relative to extending Main
Street through to the,old Pacific Highway. Referred to the Com-
mittee of the Whole.
The budget for the year 1928 was discussed and referred to
the Finance Committee to report back at the next meeting.
No further business appearing, the Council adjourned at
8 :15 P. M.
