The xew councilmen S. H. Stevens, Joseph Tonn and J.. B.
Heemink having taken the oath of office the Mayor called the
special meeting to order and addressed a word of welcome to them.
The Mayor on behalf of the citizens of Tukwila thanked
the retiring councilmen E. F. Greene and Max Holmes for their
faithful and untiring service on the council.
As the next order of business the Mayor announced the
following committees:

Light

Police
Public Welfare and Charity

Water

Justice J. R. Durbin
Amotion that all appointments be confirmed was made,
seconded and carried.
The new treasurer, George C. Bergquist took the oath of
office. The clerk took the oath of office.
A short discussion relative to the sale of bonds and
to the different phases of the water question took place.
The Mayor declared the meeting adt}ourned at 9:00 p. m.
