A fully qualified and properly equipped crew with the necessary tackle and rigging should be engaged to locate the condensing unit in position. When lifting the unit, spreader bars and chafing gear should be used to prevent damage. The unit should be placed on a base, which is level and even. Units should be lagged to sleepers or support base. Place unit where it will not be subject to damage by traffic or flooding. On critical installations where noise is liable to be transmitted through the floor structure, vibration isolators should be installed. Isolators should be installed under mounting base and may be rubber or cork or equal. DO NOT USE THE SHIPPING SKID AS A PERMANENT BASE. Remember the box has been preassembled in our plant and inspected prior to shipping. Every attempt has been made to stack the panels in the sequence necessary to set up with first panels needed on the top. To avoid freight damage in transit, the door / frame assembly is always on the very top and the floors are staked upside down on the bottom of the pallet. Do not over tighten the cam - locks. This will permanently damage the cam assembly & box will not seal. Cam rotations are clockwise. On large boxes the floors, walls and ceilings that are same length and standard 47" wide, will not be numbered and are all interchangeable with any other similar panels for floor, walls and ceilings. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1 of 4 ** EXISTING FLOOR MUST BE LEVELED FOR PROPER INSTALLATION OF THE WALK -IN COOLER OR FREEZER ** 1. Mark the perimeter outline of the structure, using chalk lines, and confirm that it is squared by making diagonal measurements. If the corner angles are square, you are ready to start installation. Installation requires a minimum of (2) installers for safety and proper erection of the walk -in. An as -built drawing will be supplied indicating dimensions & panel lay -out, each panel is identified with a number 'reflecting the as -built drawing. A review of the as -built drawing will guide you in establishing where each panel is located. Please note: There is a 1/8" tolerance allowed for each panel joint. A minimum 2" clearance should be allowed between the walk -in and adjacent walls. This clearance Is necessary for air circulation, to prevent moisture condensation and allow for any variation in building walls which may not be square or plumb. 2.
