(ii) Increased or decreased the VDC signal to the ECM motor until correct airflow was achieved (3) Outlet Proportioning (a) while unit still in full cooling mode, the outlets are then proportioned (4) Checking Minimum Primary Air Flow (a) placed unit to minimum primary flow (b) measured inlet velocity pressure at the flow ring (5) Heating coil testing (as equipped) (a) While the unit was still at minimum flow, the thermostat's temperature set point was lowered to less than room temperature to force the unit's heating coil on, the heaters delta T was then recorded. The new VAV's had amps and volts recorded. (6) Verified minimum Fan Flow on new VAV's (a) Adjusted the temperature set point until the unit went into dead band mode causing the fan to be at its minimum speed. (b) Verified and recorded the fan speed. (7) Reset overrides to normal operating condition.
