MtETI'iG DATE 1 AGENDA ITEM 1 ACTON VYPE .c /ti,1'/ _4 11? &1 1 pa- I P FILED for R of Request of CITY OF TUKWILk WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 1140 WHEREAS, an environmental checklist was submitted and reviewed by all affected departments and agencies; WHEREAS, comments received prompted a declaration of non significance as contained in the Planning Division's file no. EPIC 123 -7% WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing at their regular November meeting conducted on 15 November 1979 at which they recommended approval of the rezone conditioned upon fulfillment of five (5) stipulations; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the environmental impact of the proposed action and the recommendation of the Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The property described in the attached legal description (Exhibit A) and as shown on the attached site map (Exhibit B) is hereby reclassi- fied to C -2, with conditions as specified in this ordinance. Section 2. The rezoning to C -2 is subject to the following stipu- A1:1- irnprovemen:ts as shown on Exhibit B of application 79 -34 -R, except as may be amended by the following conditions: the parking facility 2. Prior to'the issuance of a grading permit forfl the applicants shall obtain Tukwila Public Works Department approval of a comprehensive grading, drainage and construction plan for the site. 3. Area lighting detail drawings shall be furnished to the Planning Division for review and approval prior to beginning Construction on this site. 4. Prior to construction of the project, the applicants shall obtain approval from the Board of Architectural Review of a planting and irrigation system plan for the facility. Board of Architectural Review shall be required for any future proposal for construction of structure on the subject site. 5. Construction of the parking facility shall proceed in a matter which prevents disturbance of the adjoining toe -of -slope and all significant trees in the immediate vicinity of the work. Section 3. The zoning map adopted by reference by Ordinance #251 is hereby amended to reflect the changes by the rezoning action taken in this ordinance. Section 4.
