WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has received a valid petition
requesting vacation of a certain portion of Southcenter Boulevard, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution #691, set a public
hearing date for August 27, 1979 and conducted said hearing in accordance
with RCW 35.79.
WHEREAS, this action is exempt from the State Environmental
Policy Act, WAC 197 -10 -170 (9) (b).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of Macadam Road, as described
and shown on the map attached as Exhibit "A shall and
is hereby vacated.
Section 2. Pursuant to Ordinance #1086, Section 5; such
vacation of land shall not become effective until persons
acquiring the land to be vacated have compensated the City
in an amount equal to one -half the assessed valuation of
said property pursuant to RCW 35.79.030.
Section 3. The total square footage of the area to be
vacated is 7,920 SF and current value, based upon the
adjacent property values, as shown on the records of
the Kina County Department of Records Elections and
detailed in Exhibits B C is $0.7198 per square foot.
In accordance with Section 2 of this Ordinance compensation
due the City of Tukwila at one -half the total value of the
land to be vacated is $2,850.53. Said amount has been agreed
on by the property owners.
Section 4. The indivuduals and /or corporations acquiring the
land to be vacated shall furnish, to each other, a perpetual
easement granting access rights to their individual properties
as appropriate.

That portion of Macadam Road, as located by King County Survey, Number 639 "a
lying Westerly of a line perpendicular to the Northwesterly margin of said
Macadam Road at its intersection with the Westerly line of that portion of the
William H. Gillian Donation Claim Number 40, in Township 23 North, Range 4 East,
W.M., as conveyed to H. Wayne Anderson and Ardeth Anderson, his wife, by deed
recorded under Auditors File Number 5845225, and lying North of the Northerly
margin of the Renton -Three Tree Point Road Number 2649.
