AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 954 CLARIFYING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF
PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF TUKWILA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section lof Ordinance No. 954, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. That on the effective date of this Ordinance
the following described property shall be annexed to and become a
part of the City of Tukwila, said property being located on the
West intersection of Interurban Avenue and 52nd Avenue South and
being legally described as follows:
"Beginning at the intersection of the Southwesterly
R/W line of STATE Highway 2M and the Southeasterly
R/W line of FOSTER STREET, More commonly known as
52nd Ave. So.; thence S. 48 °04'00" West 108 feet
more or less; thence S. 29 °30'00" West 50 feet
more or less; thence N. 60 30'00" West 17.5 feet
more or less to the center line of FOSTER STREET;
thence S. 29 30'00" W. along said center line
20 feet more or less; thence N. 60 °30'00" West
107 feet more or less; thence North 35 °45'30"
East 197.83 feet more or less to the Southwesterly
R/W line of STATE Highway 2M; thence Southeasterly
along said R/W line to the point of beginning."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect five days
after the date of publication, at which time the area hereby
annexed shall become a part of the City of Tukwila.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to file seven
certified copies of this Ordinance with the King County Council.
