Tue regular meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
was called to order by the Mayor. Those present were S. H. Stevens,
J. B. Heemink, Jos. Ton and Phillip Koenig, all Councilmen of the
Town of Tukwila.
The minutes of the last regular meeting was read by the Clerk
and on approval were filed by order of the Mayor. The minutes of
the special meeting of July 19 were read by the Clerk and on cor-
rection and approval were filed by order of the Mayor.
BILLS:
The following bills were approved by the finance committee
and a motion was made, seconded and carried that all bills be allow-
ed and that warrants should be drawn for their respective amounts.

COMMUNICATIONS:
A letter from Shorts Denny stating that the general bonds
had been printed and that they were ready for delivery was read by
the Clerk..

The street lighting contract was again introduced. On motion
duly made, seconded and carried it was referred to the light com-
mittee.
NEW BUSINESS:
A motion was made, seconded and carried that the Clark re-
ceive for personal expenses and work all entailed in connection
with the installation of the Municipal water system, $20 dollars
a month dating from the first of July 1928, payable from the
General Construction Fund.
The Clerk was instructed as follows: To get a certified
Copy of the minutes of the meeting of the Council of the City of
Seattle at which the Council agreed to buy Tukwila's Revenue bonds;
to write to F. Gott in regard to maintaining a nuisance by keep-
ing a lot of unnecessary dogs on his premises; to write to W. H.
Stewart relative to the dumping of garbage on Bluff Street; To
notify Uno to clean up the debris that he has thrown into Riverside
Avenue;- and to take up with Mr. Hanson the matter of the hearing
on the local tmprovement assessments failing on Labor Day.
NEW BUSINESS CON' T
It was moved, seconded and carried that the Laws and Ordin-
ances committee draw up an ordinance providing speoifications for
the construotion of sidewalks in the Town of Tukwila.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
The chairman of the Street committee reported that con-
siderable work had been done on Outlet Street; also that he had
two men at work cutting brush on the various streets-
No further business appearing a motion was made, seconded
and carried that the Council adhourn. Time 9 :30 p. m.
