The occupant load of the retail space requires two exits. The rear exit goes through the stockroom. The following section applies, Section 1014.2 2009 IBC... please revise exiting plan to comply with the code section above or provide another exit in a different location. • We have revised all of our plans to include an extra exit in the stockroom which will prevent all occupants inside the sales area to have to go through the stockroom to exit the store. Our exiting diagrams on sheet A0.2 have been revised to reflect this. 2. Emergency lighting per section 1006 IBC is required along the main egress paths that connect the front and back exits. I could not find plans that show emergency light fixtures aligned with the egress path. Your egress plan is on page A0.2 and it would be helpful if you showed emergency light fixtures on this plan. You will need enough to meet the intensity requirement (average 1 foot candle at floor level) along the main egress aisles. • We have taken your advice and revised our A0.2 to not only include our emergency track lighting and bug -eyes but also defined the luminance requirements on our legend. Mechanical - Permit #M11 -043 1. Please provide structural plans, calculations and framing details for the new rooftop unit loads applied to the existing roof system. Include rooftop unit anchorage details. • We are utilizing the existing curb for our new RTU. The rooftop unit will be installed on this curb as per manufacturer's recommendation and a minimum will be anchored per details 8,9,10 and 11 on sheet M3.0 • A partial roof structural plan has been added to sheet M3.0 for your reference and calculations are being submitted with our resubmittal 2. The State energy code forms where not filled in adequately. Only submit the applicable forms. We do not need lighting budgets with mechanical permit applications. Complete all required sections of the pages applicable to this system. • The 2009 Washington State energy forms have been completed and attached. Only mechanical forms will be included in this resubmission 3.
