T AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE
OF REAL PROPERTY NECESSARY FOR THE DE-

VELOPMENT AND RELOCATION OF MINKLER

WHEREAS, Under the provisions of RCW 35.24.300 a City of
the Third Class has the power to convey -real estate, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the development and relocation
of Minkler Boulevard, and is in furtherance of the common benefit
of the people of Tukwila that the City acquire additional prop-
erty on the North side of Minkler Boulevard as presently located
in exchange for a conveyance of property on the South side of
Minkler Boulevard as presently located, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Tukwila, through its proper officers, is hereby
authorized to convey by warranty deed to Puget Western, Inc., a
Washington corporation, the following described real estate
situated in the County of King, State of Washington:
That portion of the South Half of Section 26,
Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., in King
County, Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at a point South 88 °12'32" East 30.00
feet from the Northwest corner of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 26,
said point being the Point of Origin of the center-
line of the P -17 Drainage Channel, which Channel
continues South 88 °12'32" East to terminus at the
Westerly margin of Christensen Road; thence South
01 °47'28" West 21.00 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence South 88 °12'32" East 846.50
feet; thence South 01 °47'28" West 24.00 feet
along the West margin of Andover Park East; thence
North 88 °12'32" West 846.50 feet; thence North
01 °47'28" East along the East margin of Andover
Park West 24.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
