The regular meeting of the C -uncil of the Town of Tukwila
was called to order by Mayor John R. Walkup. Councilmen Ton, Cum—
ming, koenig and Heemink were present.
The minutes of the last regular meeting was read by the Olark
and upon approval were filed.

Upon the report of the finance committee that all bills
had been approved a motion was made, seconded and carried that all
the bills presented be allowed and that warrants be drawn for their
respective amounts.
COMMUNICATIONS:
The Reeasurer' s report for September was read b� the Clerk
and no comments being made was filed by order of the- Mayor.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
The lighting contract which had come up several times before
was reintroduced by the Clerk and on motion duly made, seconded and
carried was accepted and signed.
NEW BUSINESS:
The proposed budget for the year 1929 was read by the Clerk.
A motion was made, seconded and carried that the ordinance, No. 119,
be passed. On roll call the vote was a s follows:

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:
The chairman of the street committee reported that there was
some work on the streets to be done yet. Many streets need to be
graded. Some brush cutting remained also. The Clerk was instructed
to aseerta n if the County would sell the Town some crushed rock
from the quarry at the Bluff.
It was reported also that the blasting at the 'quarry was very disc
tressing to the nearby residents. The Clerk was instructed to
ascertain if any thing could be done about it.
As no further business appeared the Council moved to ad—
journ at g:00 p. m.
