HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969 - Ord 0540 - LID #8 (Local Improvement District) - Assessment Roll Levy - 6486095 5Z15 42 6484•4095 �J�WILA /Y06 CITY OF TUK WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 540 AN ORDINANCE ordering the reassessment of assessments and assessment role of Local Improvement District No. 8, created and established for the purpose of improving tx certain areas within the City by the con- struction and installation of water pipe- lines as ordered by Ordinance No. 399 and which assessment role was approved and confirmed in Ordinance No. 423, and notify- ing all persons who may desire to object or protest the reassessment role to appear and present their objections in a meeting of the City Council being held on ��u.},.c../ t l ?4 747 P. iY) WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 399, Local Improvement District No. 8 was created in the City of Tukwila, and WHEREAS, the Superior Court of the State of Washington and for the County of King on the Seventh (7th) day of January, 1966, ordered, adjudged and decreed the assessments for Local Improvement District No. 8 as evidenced by the assessment role approved and confirmed by City of Tukwila Ordinance No. 423 to be erroneous and void, and that the property included within the boundary of the Local Improvement District No. 8 be modified to include the following described property, Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and, WHEREAS, the reassessment role levying the special assessments against the property in Local Improvement District No. 8, created under Ordinance No. 399, and as modified by the inclusion of the above described property was filed with the SEWS City Clerk of the City of Tukwila on j/16/ 034o) day of January, 1969, 5'65 43 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila do ordain as follows: Section 1: The assessment and assessment role of Local Improvement District No. 8, approved and confirmed by the City of Tukwila Ordinance No. 423, which has been created and established for the purposes of paying the cost of improving certain areas within the City by the construction and installation of water pipelines, order to be carried out by Ordinance No. 399, is hereby ordered to be reassessed. Section 2: The following described property, not included in the boundaries of Local Improvement District No. 8, created by Ordinance No. 399 is hereby declared to be specially benefited by such improvement and will be included as a part of Local Improvement District No. 8: Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The actual cost and expense of said improve- ment together with accrued interest thereon is hereby declared to be 54, Dollars. Their cost and expense together with accrued interest thereon shall be borne and reassessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement included in the local improvement district, as modified. Section 4: That all persons who may desire to object or protest the reassessment role, filed with the City Clerk on the c;O AD day of January, 1969, levying the special assessment against the property in Local Improvement District No. 8, as modified, are hereby notified to appear and present such objection at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council chambers in the City Hall, Tukwila, Washington, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on the 26 4774 day of February, 1969, which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all objections or protests to the reassessment role as filed with the City Clerk. 5215 44 Section 5: City Clerk is hereby directed to provide notice of the above described hearing pursuant to RCW3‘44.080 and RCW3344.090.
