ORDINANCE NO. 514 67-/
AN ORDINANCE rezoning certain property
within the City of Tukwila from R -1 and
R-3 to R -4.
I. WHEREAS, the property described herein is presently classified
by Ordinance No. 251, as amended, as R -1, single family residence,
and R -4, three or four family dwellings, and
II. WHEREAS, the Owners of said property have petitioned the
Planning Commission of the City of Tukwila for a change of zoning
classification from R -1 and R -3 to R -4, low density apartments,
and
III. WHEREAS, City Planning Commission and the City Council have
both held public hearings pursuant to the City of Tukwila Ordinance
No. 251, as amended, and both bodies have recommended that said
alke changes be made.
iq NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila---
do ordain as follows: 1q4
The following described property is hereby rezoned from
a land use classification of R -1, single family residence, and R -3,
three and four family dwellings, to R -4, low density apartments,
in accordance with Tukwila Ordinance No. 251, as amended, and hereby
adopts the attached map showing said classifications:
That portion of Lot 18, Interurban Addi-
tion to Seattle, according to plat there-
of recorded in volume 10 of plats, page
55, records of King County, Washington, as
follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said
Lot 18, thence South 89 °47' East along the 0
South line thereof 413.80 feet to the
Northwest corner of Lot 17 of said plat,
thence North 0 °15' West parallel with the
West line of said Lot 18, 30.0 feet, thence
North 15 °59' West 203.12 feet, thence North
71 33'30" East 129.78 feet to the East line
of the West 482.0 feet of said Lot 18, thence
North 0 15' West 63.4 feet to the North line of
said Lot 18, thence North 89 °47' West along
the North line thereof 482.0 feet to the
5083' 590
0 °15' East along the West line thereof 330.0
feet to the point of beginning.
The City Clerk is directed to file a copy of this or-
dinance and map with the King County Auditor as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Ttlkwila this
ad day of March 1968.
