wila was called to order on the above date in the Town Hall at
8:00 p. m. Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Council-
men Joseph Ton, J. B. Heemink, and S. H. Stevens.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by
the Clerk and were approved by the Council.

All the bills were approved excepting the bill of
Paul Myers for $39.20; and the bill of the Puget Sound Power
Light Co. was reduced to $39.50 because of the failure of
the Company to renew a light glove on Bluff Street after a
thirty day notice. A motion was duly made, seconded and carried
that all other bills be allowed as presented and that warrants
be drawn for their respective amoubhs.
COMMUNICATIONS
The Treasurer's monthly financi report was read
by the Clerk and was filed by order of the Mayor..

Tukwila, December 6, 1928
G. W. WAllenberg was nominated, duly elected by the
Council to fill the unexpired term of J. R. Cumming, resigned,
and sworn in.
The Chairman of the street committee reported as
follows: (1). That all brush on the streets had been burned;
(2). That Engel Hill, Clarence Avenue and Tukwila Avenue had
all been repaired; (3). That most of the streets were in good
condition but that some of them could be improved by gravel.
NEW BUSINESS
An ordinance creating Local Ilprovement District
No. 1, et cetera was read by the Clerk; on the Maor's order
it was read a second time by title. On motion duly made, seconded
and carried it was read again by title and placed on its final
passage. The Ordinance, No. 121 was passed unanimously by the
Council on Roll call.

An ordinance approving and adopting plans and specifications
as prepared by J.D. Blackwell, engineer, calling for
bids, et cetera was read by the Clerk. On the Mayor's order
it was read a second time by title. On motion duly made, second-
ed and carried it was read again by title and placed on its
final passage. The Ordinance, No. 122 was passed unanimously
by the Council on roll call.

Resolution 41 of thanks to former Councilman J.R. Cum-
ming was introduced and read by the Clerk. It was passed un-
animously by a motion duly made, seconded and carried.
A motion that the allowance from the General Bond
Construction Fund for the Clerk be discohtinued was made, second-
ed and carried; time 9 :30 p. m.
