ORDINANCE NO. 500 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA AND RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN
PROPERTY FROM R -1 TO RMH
1. WHEREAS, the owners of the following described property
have petitioned the Planning Commission for an amendment to the Com-
prehensive Plan and requesting reclassification of said property from
R -1 to RMH.
2. WHEREAS, public hearings on said petition were held
before the Planning Commission and the City Council of the City of
Tukwila, and the City Council having received a favorable recommendation
of the Planning Commission with respect to the aforementioned petition.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila do
ordain as follows:
The comprehensive plan of the City of Tukwila is hereby
amended to include the following described real property, by planning
the use of said property to be multiple residential, and the following
described real property is hereby classified as RMH in accordance with
Ordinance No. 251 of the City of Tukwila, as amended, and the City Council
hereby adopts the attached map showing said classification for the
following described real property:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of 51st
Avenue South and the Westerly extension of the Northerly margin of
Renton Three Tree Point Road in Section 23, Township 23 North, Range
4 East W.M., in King County, Washington;
Thence Northerly along said center line to the Westerly exten-
sion of the Northerly margin of South 151st Street;
Thence Easterly along said extension and said margin to the
Southerly extension of the center line of 53rd Avenue South, also
being the Westerly margin of the City Limits of the City of Tukwila
by Resolution No. 23309;
Thence Southerly along said extension to the Northerly margin
of Renton Three Tree Point Road;
Thence Westerly along said margin to the point of beginning.
The City Clerk is directed to file a copy of this ordinance
and map with the King County Auditor.
