WHEREAS, the property described herein is presently classified by Ordinance No. 251 of the City of Tukwila, as amended, as R -1, single family residence, and 2. WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned the Planning Commission of the City of Tukwila for a change of zoning classification from R -1 to RMH, multiple, high density apartments, and the City Council having received a favorable recommendation on that petition from the Planning Commission, and 3. WHEREAS, petitioners have agreed to develop the streets and water system for said property in accordance with the needs of an RMH land use district, and for the preservation of the health, safety, and welfare of the City of Tukwila and its inhabitants have agreed to the following conditions: (a) To install or continue as a developer's extension an eight inch water main from Three Tree Point Road; and (b) To widen the street at 65th Avenue South by up to ten feet for the entire length of the subject property; and (c) To make adequate provision for fire hydrants; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila do ordain as follows: The following described property is hereby rezoned from a land use classification of R -1, single family residence to R -M -H, multiple, high density apartments, in accordance with Ordinance No. 251, as amended, and the City Council hereby adopts the attached VOL 499 PAGE 509 map showing such classification, and amends the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Tukwila accordingly, for the following described property: From R -1 to RMH: The south 200 feet, as measured along the west line of Lot 24 Interurban Addition to Seattle as recorded in Volume 10 of Plats at page 55, records of King County, Washington, less the easterly 20 feet for County roads and less the southerly 160 feet of the westerly 120 feet as measured along the westerly and southerly lines respectively, and less State Highways. Property address: 15130 65th Avenue South, Tukwila, Washington. This change of land use classification is expressly conditioned upon the petitioners developing their property in the manner indicated in paragraph No. 3 above, and provided further, that the petitioners cause to be executed a performance bond in favor of the City of Tukwila in the amount of $3,500 to guarantee such development and performance. The City Clerk is directed to file a copy of this ordinance and map with the King County Auditor.
