HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967 - Ord 0487 - Classify Certain Annexed Property as M-1 - 6217033IOL 4969 PAGE 510 5 CITY of TUKWILA WASHINGTON REPEALED BY 1757 ORDINANCE NO. 487 AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA TO CERTAIN RECENTLY ANNEXED PROPERTY AND CLASSIFYING THAT PROPERTY AS M-1. 1. WHEREAS, the property described herein was recently annexed to the City of Tukwila by Ordinance No. 472, and 2. WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned the Planning Commission for an extension of the comprehensive plan to that property and a classification thereof as M -1, light industry, and 3. WHEREAS, public hearings on said petition were held before the Planning Commission of the City of Tukwila and the City Council of the City of Tukwila. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila do ordain as follows: The comprehensive plan of the City of Tukwila is hereby extended to encompass the following described real property, by planning the use of said property to be light industry, and the following described real property is hereby classified as M -1, light industry, in accordance with Tukwila Ordinance No. 251, as amended, and hereby adopts the attached map showing said classification: That portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 35, Township 23 North, Range 4 East. W.M., King County, Washington Described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said subdivision; thence S4 04'20" W along the easterly line of said subdivision a distance of 490 feet to the true point of beginning; thence N 87 57'17" W parallel to the northerly line of said subdivision a distance of 843.32 feet to a point which is S87 57'17" E 495 feet from the westerly line of said subdivision; thence south 282.00 feet to the thread of a creek flowing southeasterly; thence S 47 11'37" -1- E 486.74 feet to a point on the thread of said creek; thence S 87 57'17" E 338.76 feet to intersection with the westerly margin of Mess Bros. County Road No. 76 (57th Avenue South) as presently located and having a total right of way width of 40 feet; thence along said road margin along a curve to the right having a radius of 306.48 feet, the center of which bears S88 40'12" E an arc distance of 143.56 feet; thence N 28 10'08" E 191.48 feet to the intersection of said road margin with the easterly line of said subdivision; thence N 4 04'20" E 289.11 feet to the true point of beginning. The City Clerk is directed to file a copy of this Ordinance and map with the King County Auditor. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this i` day of June, 1967.
