(GENERAL NOTE) PLAN SUBMITTALS: (Min. size 11x17 to maximum size of 24x36; all sheets shall be the same size). As of July 1 2010 City of Tukwila adopted the 2009 International Building codes. Please review plan sheets and revise plan notes to show plans and details in compliance with the current 2009 International Building codes including 2009 UPC, 2006 WSEC, 2003 ANSI as well as all other related local building codes. Code references shall be noted on the cover sheet. 2. Mechanical ventilation shall be provided at each station that creates odors, fumes or vapors. Show mechanical ventilation over each beauty station. Mechanical ventilation shall discharge directly to an approved location at the exterior of the building. Ventilation shall not be recirculated to another dissimilar occupancy. Ventilation shall be designed to supply the minimum outdoor airflow rate determined in accordance with Table 403.3. Please show mechanical ventilation for stations requiring ventilation. Also on the mechanical drawing shows a reference key (3). Remove the key (3) or provide notes for that key reference. (IMC Chapter 4 with Washington State Amendments) 3. HVAC plan is very unclear and has no mechanical details. Please be more specific with details on the plans to show the altering of the mechanical ventilation system. Show how the ducting shall be secured to the ceiling grid. Identify supply and returns. Show point of connection to the existing system if applicable. Should there be questions concerning the above requirements, contact the Building Division at 206 -431- 3670.
