A special meeting of the Town Council was held in the
Town Hall on the above date at eight o'clock. Those present
were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen S. H:w Stevens,. J. B.
Heemink, Philip Koenig and G. W. Wallenberg.
A report of the water committee recommending that the
bid of A. ')el Guzzo for the installation of 0. n. La.nwelded
pipe at a bid price of $34,013.35 be accepted was brought in
by Cha=irman Stevens and was read by the Clerk.
A motion that the report of the water committee be ac-
cepted and that its recommendation be adopted was made and
seconded and on roll call was unanimously passed as follows:
Councilman Wallenberg aye Councilman Stevens aye
Heemink Koenig
After a short discussion a motion was made, seconded
and carried that the Clerk be instructed to apply to the
water department of the City of Seattle for a connection for
the Tukwila supply chain, the connection to be made with each
of the three chains of the City of Seattle water system, and to
take such other steps as might be necessary in getting con-
struction on the water system started.
A motion was made, seconded and carried that all checks
except that of Del Guzzo be returned by the Clerk.
The request of S. H. Stevens for a thirty -day leave
of absence was granted ''y the !".yor.
No other business appearing a motion that the Council
adjourn was made, seconded and carried at 8:15 p. m.
