ORDINANCE NO 289
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA APPLYING A ZONING TO AN
AREA ANNEXED TO THE TOWN OF TUKWILA UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 257.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Town Council, acting upon the recommendation
of the Tukwila Planning Commission, extended the Tukwila" Comprehensive
Zoning P1an -intfl,_the area annexed d_doseribed in Tukwila Ordinance
No. 257 and applied to said area a zoning of C -M, Industrial Park, as
defined in Tukwila. Ordinance No. 251, to that portion of the area
lying went of Secondary State Highway No. 5 -M ant:, applied to said
area a zoning of M -1, Light Industry, as defined in Tukwila Ordinance
No. 251 to that portion of the said area lying east of Secondary
State Highway No. 5 -M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF TUK►dILA

SECTION 1. That C -M, Industrial Park Zoning, as defined in
Tukwila Town Ordinance No. 251, be applied to that portion of land
lying West of Secondary State Highway No. 5 -1 annexed to Tukwila
under Ordinance NO,. 257; and that M -1, Light Industry "oning, as
defined in Tukwila Town Ordinance No. 251, be applied to that portion
of land lying east of secondary State Highway No. 6 -M annexed to
Tukwila under Ordinance No. 257 and described as follows:
Beginning at the,intersection of the South line of Government
Lot 6, in Section 25, Towneahip 23 North, Range 4 East 4i .N. and
the easterly bank of the Green River; thence easterly along the
South line of said Govermmnet Lot 6 and along the South line
of the Northwest a of the Southeast,* of said Section 25 to the
Southeast corner of said Northwest t of the Southeast 4; thence
Northerly along the East line of the Northwest t of the Southeast
and along the East line of the Southwest t of the Northeast 4
of said Seetioa 25 to the North line of the south 30 acres of
said Southwest of the _Northeast thence Westerly along said
North line of the South 30 acres and along the North line of the
South 990 feet of the Southeast 4 of the northwest t of said
Section 25 to the West line of said outhea;tt of the Northwest
t; thence- continuing west to the west bank of the Green River,
Which is the Eaat€rly limits of the Town of Tukwila, thence
southerly along eaid.=limits of the Town of Tukwila to a point
bearing west from the point of beginning; thence east to the point
of beginning. x.
all of which lies; within the corporate limits or the Town of Tukwila,
County of King, State of Washington.
SECTION 2. P this ordinance hall be in effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as provided law.

defined in Tukwila Ordinance No. 251, to that portion of the area

area a zoning of M -1, Light Industry, as defined in Tukwila Ordinance
No. 251, to that portion of the said area lying east of Secondary
State Highway No. 5 -M.
NOW, THEREFOR=, .Est IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL CP TUKaILA
as follows:

lying west of Secondary State Highway No. 5 -M annexed to Tukwila

of land lying east of secondary State Highway No. 5 -M annexed to
Tukwila under Ordinance No. 257 and described as follows:
