HomeMy WebLinkAbout1929-03-07 Regular MinutesTukwila, March 7, 1929 The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the above dEte at 8:00 p. m. Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen E. H. Stevens, J. B. Heemink, G. W. Wallenberg and Philip Koenig. The minutes of the last regular meeting and also the minutes of the special meeting of February 28, were read by the Clerk and were approved without change. BILLS Current expense fund B. A. Foreman 5.20 G. C. Bergquist 6.25 J. A. Duff 12.50 F. Gott 14.00 F. McDonald 8.00 Henry Sohnoor 12.00 Puget Sound Power Light Co. 42.50 Total 4100.45 General bond construction fund Seattle Water Department $300.00 The finance committee having approved all the bills present- ed, a motion was duly made, seconded and carried that all the bills be allowed as presented and that warrants be drawn for their respective amounts. COMMUNICATIONS The Treasurer&s mo }thly report was read by the Clerk and was filed by order of the Mayor. COMMITTEE REPORTS The chairman of the street committee reported that the severe winter weather had left the streets in need of considerable work. He asked to be allowed to proceed with the necessary work. Permission to proceed with the necessary work was granted without any objections. It was read a second and a third time by title. A Motion that the bill be passed was made, seconded and cErried unanimous- ly by roll call.
