Tukwila, Wpril 4, 1929
The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m.
Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen Philip
Koenig, G. W. Wallenberg, S. H. Stevens, J. B. Heemink and Jos.
Ton.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the
Clerk and were approved as read.

The finance committee reported that all the bills except
that of F. Gott had been approved. This latter bill was reduced
to $99.34 for the reason that one load of road material was un-
satisfactory. A motion that the bills be paid as approved was
made, seconded and carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
The Treasurer's monthly report was read by the Clerk and
filed by order of the Mayor.
A letter from the County Aufitor giving the results of the
Municipal election was read by the Clerk. A motion that the e-
lection certificates be presented to the successful candidates
was made, seconded and carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
The chairman of the street committee reported that arrange-
ments had been made to get road machinery from the County Commis-
sioners. A motion that the Clerk issue warrants for the men man
n,ng the County machinery on order of the Chairman of the street
committee was made, seconded and carried.
The Chairman of the light committee reported that the street
lighting service was unsatisfactory. That many lights were out
and that the truning on of the lights was not timed right.
