The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tuk-
wila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m.
Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen Philip Koenig,
G. W. Wallenberg, S. H. Stevens, J. B. Heemink and Joseph Ton.
Councilman -elect J. C. Wickmen being present and having qualified
Councilman- G. W. Wallenberg retired and J. C. Wickman took up and
assumed the office and duties of Councilman.

The Mayor announced the appointment of J. C. Wickman as chair-
man of the finance committee, and called a brief recess for the
examining of the bills. The chairman of the finance committee re-
ported that all the bills were approved as presented. A motion
that the bills be paid and warrants drawn for their respective
amounts was made, seconded and carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
A letter from the Town Engineer, J. D. Blackwell, was read.
The letter contained recommendations for extras as follows: (1).
A slight change in the course of the pipe line on the golf course;
(2). Concrete anchors on the pipe line on the golf course at a cost
of about $32.00; (3). Two 14" inch valves on the distributtng system
at Riverside and Tukwila Avenues at a cost of about $5.00 each. A
motion that the Engineer be authorized to make the changes and ad-
ditions as recommedded was made, seconded and carried.
A letterfrom the contractor, A. Del Guzzo, asking for an exten-
sion of thirty days for the completion of his contracts with the Town
of Tukwila was read by the Clerk. A motion that the matter be laid on
the table was made, seconded and carried.
