The regular maeeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila
was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m. Those
present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen Philip Koenig, J. C.
Wickman, S. H. Stevens,. J. B. Heemink and Joseph Ton.
The minutes of the last regular meeting ware read by the Clerk
and were approved as read.
The Mayor declared that on account of the sudden death of the
Town Engineer, J.D. Blackwell no regular business would be taken
up.
It was moved, seconded and carried that Resolution 42 of condol-
ence be prepared, passed and a copy sent to Mrs. Blackwell.
The sum of $10.00 was subscribEd by the Town officers and many
citizens present and the Clerk was instructed to buy flowers to
send to the funeral.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the inspector, J. P.
Walkup retained as acting engineer until such time as his ser-
vices were not needed.
No further business appearing the Council adjourned at 8 :30 p. m.
